KIOSK 78 - DRAPERS AWARD WIN

We were in London last week for the prestigious Drapers Fashion Awards. We were very happy to come away winning the Award for best new business in front of nearly 1000 people from the industry.

Its a great result for us and we'd like to thank everyone involved with Kiosk 78 and more importantly all our customers and fans of the store for your support over the last 18 months.

I can assure you we are working harder than ever to continue to find and bring to you the very best menswear available from around the globe, and to continually improve our service instore and online.

Spring Summer 2010

Just a quick update to let you know what to expect from Kiosk78 next year.
We have gone up another level in our 'humble' opinion with some of the greatest brands from across the globe.

Sitting nicely alongside our other brands such as A.P.C, Nom De Guerre, Our Legacy, Folk and Velour, we will welcome our very first Surface 2 Air collection. There's some great tee's, shirting, knits and one sublime grey selvage denim model on its way!

We also have one of our favourite new UK labels Universal Works. Theres so much I can say about this brand, but I think they can some up the brand better than I can
"Universal Works is a collection of menswear based on traditional British workwear and outdoor clothing with a modern slant.
Universal Works is about good honest menswear, it's about quality garments with a great fit. There is no great vision or message, no target markets, just garments for everyone, clothing to look stylish in because you the wearer makes it so, clothing you want to wear, clothing you will look good in. From a background of great British working clothes and outdoor clothes, we use honest, natural fabrics and yarns, often using up dead stock fabrics that would otherwise be wasted.

We work with highly skilled people in small factories who we have known for a long time and know what they are doing. They all make great quality garments, which is never the cheapest way to make stuff but we think it's the best way."

This ethos is exactly what we are about and we unearthed another British gem with very similar ideals for SS10. We stumbled upon Nörsea Industries whislt in Paris but sometimes you miss what is right under your nose. The brand is based in Bridlington a Northern Coastal town just up the road and takes its inspiration from tales of the North Sea. This is one of our favourite emerging brands and rings even more bells with us because of its northern background, and influences.

November 09.
Off we go on our run upto xmas, we now have all of our APC clothing for this season instore and online. The A.P.C jackets are paritcularly strong, and warm this season. Expect one more restock of APC jeans before the year is out. Our Folk clothing and Nom De Guerre clothing are now all online too as well as our MHL by Margaret Howell range that has just this minute arrived!

Also expect a Passarella Death Squad t-shirt restock in the next week or so.
We've just taken delivery of our last Wrangler Bluebell Shirt for this season. This is the strongest Bluebell collection to date and the Mike Chambray shirt is a signature shirt paying hmage to the quality and vintage techniques used throughout.

Our small but perfectly formed Velour clothing range is online for this season, these are absolutely stunning shirts. Perfect slim fitting, washed supersoft cotton shirting with nice plaids and micro check designs running through the collection...expect our Velour range to grow and grow over the coming seasons.

FRED PERRY - AUTHENTIC AW09 AT KIOSK 78

The outerwear’s really got our mouth watering too...The Quilted Harrington Jacket and Waxed Harrington Jackets are a must have winter jacket as well as the Waxed Bomber with Quilted Gunflap and a Coated Cotton Coat with Poachers Pocket and Throat Tab to please the huntin’ shootin’ fishing’ wannabees amongst us.

Our Legacy Autumn Winter 09 Preview

We are big fans of our Scandinavian friends at the minute. Everything they touch seems to be on the money, mixing key trends with a classic feel and amazing quality and fit.

We've got some great shirting from both Our Legacy and Velour for Autumn/Winter 09.

Anyone who bought from Our first Our Legacy (SS09) collection has made it known that is has become an immediate favourite in their wardrobes and I can assure you it was the same for us...

(There are also some amazing knits for the winter months and 2 key denim styles but we don't wanna spoil the suprise just yet.)
